Eastham Close Site: 1 may 2011

A Petition containing over 60 signatures has been circulated following the construction of a house foundations abutted up to the Eastham Close footpath, top of Lytton Close. Local residents are angry, and say they have not been consulted. The Master Plan shows the two houses (in cream) clearly, however, the house build in question appears to be away from the Eastham footpath shown here.
The builders inform us that the long block under construction along the main site is a row of houses, however, each unit has no stairs connecting them to the upper level, and the height of each room is little more than 5’ 6”, ideal for a family of midgets!
This view shows the new house foundations very close to the adjacent house top of Lytton Close. Local residents are angry about this.
